Project Fit is a brand of Cultured Concepts LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order details. When you check out, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment details. We receive your contact and shipping details and what you ordered. We never see or store your full card number.
- Vehicle and cart. The vehicle you select and the items in your cart are saved in your own browser (local storage and a
pf_vehiclecookie) so the site can show parts that fit. They stay on your device until you clear them. - Messages. If you email or call us, we keep what you send so we can help you.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider log basic request information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To process payment, ship your order, send order and shipping updates, and handle returns or questions.
- To keep accounting and tax records.
- To check fitment and stock, prevent fraud, and keep the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We share only what each partner needs to do its job:
- Stripe — payment processing and sales tax calculation.
- Our fulfillment partner — your name, shipping address and phone number so your order can be packed and shipped.
- Shipping carriers — your shipping address and contact details to deliver your order.
- Intuit QuickBooks — our accounting system, where order records are kept.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting for this website.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes (generally up to seven years), then delete them. Information you send us in messages is kept only as long as needed to help you.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. Order data is stored on encrypted systems with access limited to people who need it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we may need to keep some records to meet legal and tax obligations). Depending on where you live — for example California — you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
